Paralleling the paradigmatics of Nicki Minaj’s Monster verse, an estranged twin sister is summoned in a triad of mirrors.

Felisha Carénage‘s creolised technologies of architecture, language and spectacle take biography as geopolitical evidence, laying bare the mechanics of intimacy using the role of popular media in the act of nationmaking, and performances of personhood within the carnivalesque.

Born in Trinidad & Tobago, she is based between Berlin and London.
